Last year we ran our 2012 Duramax with a few aftermarket goodies and the stock emissions equipment.  Not only did the truck compete the entire season, it won several events!  Taking home 5 first place spots and placed in the top 3 more often than not.  

With 617 RWHP on tap DT Clean Sweep almost made it look easy.

 What goes into a 617 RWHP LML, Emissions Equipped, Sled Pull Monster?

 

 

LML SPADE

Now featuring LSP or switch on the fly tuning and TCM tuning.  Tuning really ties the build together.  With common rail injection you know how much of an impact tuning makes.  Once you modify things it only becomes more important. 

ATS TWIN PUMP

This helps is 2 main areas.  First it allows us to maximize the stock injectors.  The stock Cp4.2 is only capable of 550 RWHP on it's own and even then it needs a lift pump to make that number.  Running the Twin Pump setup allows us to add the old reliable Cp3 to the mix.  Giving us more than we will ever need in peak potentail.  

STEALTH 64 LML

Daily driving, towing, competing or just having fun, the Stealth 64 LML delivers.  This stock appearing charger is a drop in replacement that provides a big upside.  With stock like spool up times the turbo comes on quick, but with our custom blade profile, oversized compressor and turbine wheels it really shines up top.  Like when you are dragging a sled past the 300 ft mark at 11:30 PM on a Friday night. 

WEIGHT RACK

This goes in the bed of truck and is just what it sounds like.  We add weights to the rack and strap them down.  In sled pulling, you want to get your weight as close to the maximum allowed as possible.  This helps with traction, balance and momentum.  

26" PULLING HITCH

Too often weekend warriors forget a pulling hitch.  You don't want to be scrambling at the event looking to borrow a hitch.  Take some time, check your rules, and dial in hitch that is legal and works for your truck.  

DT750 BUILT TRANSMISSION

Although the stock tranmissions is more robust in the LML than any previous model I doubt it would have held up long to this level of abuse.  When a DT750 is put together, for us or for you, it comes out with everything you need.  Added clutches & steels, new electronics, bearings, shift kit, triple disc billet torque converter and everything else that goes into a top teir built transmission. 

TRACTION BARS

FASS TITANIUM

We run and stock the FASS 150 Titanium.  This lift pump goes inbetween the fuel tank and high pressure fuel pump and mounts the frame rail.  Not only adding filtration more importantly it pushes fuel to the high pressure pumps at of a rate of about 10 psi.  This takes stress off of the high pressure pumps and gives you cleaner fuel to burn. 

35" NITTO TERRA GRAPPLERS

They look sick, they bite hard in the dirt and they don't create a loud hum while driving.  Although they do tend to be on the high side of the pricing scale most would say they are worth it. 

SUSPENSION STOPS

Suspension stops will keep you from hitting your helmet off roof every 10 feet.  They stiffen the whole ride so you wont be cruising everyday with them installed.  We all put them in once we arrive at the event and take them out before driving home.  If nothing else it gives you a reason to show up early and go home late.
