2016 Silverado HD, Duramax, High Country, DT520:
Rick Maty brought in one of the nicest LML Duramax powered trucks I have ever seen. This 2016 Silverado HD came equipped with the High Country trim package, saddle bag brown leather interior and about every option available still gets used throughout the entire year.
So what modifications would fit such a beautiful truck? How about the same modification any 2011 to 2016 Duramax trucks benefit from. All of those modifications just happened to be bundled in our DT520.

Factory Styling Done Right:
The High Country up-fitters package comes with a lot of bells and whistles. Like most trim packages, they mostly impact the interior of the truck. Just a badge is added to the exterior of the truck.
"Saddle Bag Brown Leather Interior" It just sounds classy. This color and texture of the seats and novelty trim will undoubtedly leave an impression on you. If you love, hate and just can't decide on it, you certainly won't soon forget it.

For towing, daily driving, or just having fun, the 2011 - 2016 Duramax has a few places it needs some help. The DT520 helps fill the gaps between how the factory put it together and what you want out of it.

The LML SPADE is one of our most popular products. The SPADE allows us to provide Custom Tuning for your truck. LSP tuning now supports switch on the fly capability for LML owners and transmission tuning is also available. Our tuning is what makes it possible to safely run an emissions equipped LML at 520 RWHP.
This is where the power comes from. The race tune is capable of 520 RWHP with the support of a lift pump. With LSP tuning, 5 tunes are available to select from. Keep your CP4 Happy with Clean, High Pressure Fuel!
From the factory, the Durmax trucks are not equipped with a pump to push diesel fuel from the tank to the engine. This pump ensures there's always a strong supply of clean diesel fuel to your high pressure fuel system. Includes a filter and water separator for additional fuel system protection. This pump is mandatory on our higher horsepower applications and WHEN RUNNING THE LML RACE TUNE where fuel starvation can cause lack of power, poor shifting, and excessive smoke from low fuel rail pressure.
For your 2015 and 2016 LML Duramax you will also want a Sump or Draw Straw kit. Several are available, we use the sump kit from Beans. This changes the fuel being pulled from the top of the tank, to drawing fuel from the bottom of the tank. You can learn more about the installation process in this 5 MINUTE VIDEO.
- S&B Cold Air Intake
S&B Claims it their intake flows almost 50% better than your stock system. It does improve the curb appeal of your truck and it is easier to change out filters, that is for sure.
- Edge Insight CTS2 Monitor
Spending $40,000 or more on a truck is nothing to snuff at. Many LML owners will tell you the truck is among the top 3 largest purchases they have ever made. Spending the $429.95 for a set of seriously cool gauges just makes sense. With 9 easy to see gauges, digital, touch screen monitor and the ability to monitor emissions equipment and engine performance this one should be a "No-Brainer".
Consider the EGT probe is you tow at or near Gross Vehicle Weight or put the truck through high load operation.
- Tie Rod Sleeves
Use 4 wheel drive? Want to keep the front end together? If you answered yes to both questions consider tie rod sleeves. Although this generation of Silverado HD's has a much stronger front end, we have still witnessed a few failures. The sleeves help strengthen your tie rods which are the known weak link in the front suspension.
