Smarty MM3 Tuning for 1998.5 - 2017 Cummins

Calibrated Power has been testing the Smarty MM3 tuning for several months.  Over this time we have learned much more about this exciting new tuning platform.  Now that we have tested several groups of trucks, we are ready to move our beta testing program forward.  Below you will find a list of updates and notes on what to expect from our custom tuning.  Stage 2 of beta testing officially begins on Monday, January 16th, 2017.  If you would like to get custom tunes for your truck, simply click the button below the truck you group, fill out the form on the corresponding page and we will contact you within 1 business day. 

1998.5-2002 (VP) Cummins

+ Able to clear up most or all of smoke 

+ Excellent digital, touch screen gauge package included with tuner

+ Improved drive-ability

+ Smoother application of power

+ Live tuning works without known issue

+ Able to fit multiple Single Tune Files

+ Stock injector or moderately modified injector trucks will be considered

+ Built Transmission power level tuning available

+ Stock transmission safe tuning available

- Still waiting for Switch-on-the-fly (RTE) support

- No RPM Limiter testing has been completed

2003 - 2007 (CMB) 5.9L Cummins

+ Able to clear up most or all of smoke 

+ Excellent digital, touch screen gauge package included with tuner

+ Improved drive-ability

+ Able to fit multiple Single Tune Files

+ Switch-on-the-fly (RTE) Tuning widely supported

+ Stock injector and all modified injector trucks will be considered

+ Built Transmission power level tuning available

+ Stock transmission safe tuning available

+ All trucks considered for tuning

- Some operating systems may require extra time for full support

- No transmission tuning tested

+ Improved shift quality & lock-up control

+ No additional hardware required to unlock the ECM

- Only stock injector trucks will be considered

- Some operating systems may require extra time for full support

- 2017 will be Single Tune Files

- No Aisin transmission tuning tested
