INTRODUCTION:
Many customers hunt the forums in search of How to FLASH your LML Duramax. Let's face it, these are expensive trucks and you want to be confident in your actions while flashing a truck.

Step 1: Plug in the SPADE unit to the OBD2 port.
Step 2: Turn Key to RUN position
Step 3: Scroll down to TUNING TOOL, CLICK OK, SCROLL DOWN TO PROGRAM FULL, CLICK OK, FIND #7 STOCK FILE, CLICK OK
Step 4: Once the Stock file is FLASHED, you can put in the tune you desire. Click OK on Tuning Tool, click Program CAL, press OK, scroll down to your favorite tune, press OK. (The RACE tune requires a lift pump)
Step 5: Congrats! You have SUCCESSFULLY FLASHED YOUR LML.
TIPS/Reminders when FLASHING:
- Perform the FLASH in a location where you are safe in the event your truck won't start. (I.E. Not in the middle of a field)
- Always make sure the KEY is in the RUN position while flashing.
- Make sure you don't have weak batteries while flashing.
- Do not interupt the FLASH.
- You must flash your #7 STOCK file before it will accept a CAL file.
